"The love of hand-fabricated jewelry inspires my designs. Starting from a sheet of silver, a piece of silver wire and gemstones and transforming them into wearable art is an ever new adventure.

Studying historical jewelry designs has always been my passion. I like to integrate traditional techniques like Keum Boo into my contemporary designs. I love to experiment with heat patinas like reticulation. Keum Boo is an old Korean technique to apply 24 karat gold foil to Fine Silver through heat. Reticulation is a process where the surface of silver becomes fluid under the torch flame and wrinkles. The results are unique organic patterns.
