Gull-Britt was born in southern Sweden, completed her liberal arts education in Stockholm and attended the Bauhaus Institute. She worked in display and advertising in Stockholm until she immigrated to the United States.

In San Francisco she was associated with display and advertising agencies, and also worked in photography, life drawing and oil painting. She has attended watercolor workshops with nationally know artists like Rex Brandt, Zoltan Szabo, Robert Wood and others.

Gull-Britt is a longtime member of the Central Coast Art Association and the Watercolor Society. Participating in en plein aire workshops, Gull-Britt’s watercolors have won numerous awards. Recently her work was selected for an exhibition of Artists of Swedish Heritage as part of the 150th anniversary of Swedish immigration to the United States.
