Marie-Christine Safford

She traveled in many countries and interacted with people of varied customs and cultures which influence her creations today. While living in France, she studied psychology and art in Paris, Bordeaux, and Lorient, where she was a member of the City Council.

In 1983 she moved to Santa Rosa, California, where she completed her education in Fine Arts.

Marie-Christine has exhibited her work in many of the area’s finest galleries and participated in numerous art events since moving to the Monterey Bay area.

Included in these is the Annual Art Exhibition at the Luther Burbank Center for the Arts in Sonoma County.

In 1994 Marie-Christine moved her studio to Carmel, California, where she lives with her husband. Her goal is to build a large universal, self-sustaining art studio for children and adults where she can teach and share the joys of creating art.
