In addition to drawing and painting he also studied figure sculpting for 4 years, and in 2013 received his BFA in Drawing and Painting and a Minor in Figurative Sculpture From LCAD. Since graduating Bryce has continued to pursue painting and sculpture, creating bodies of work and participating in juried shows regularly.

His paintings capture the beauty and rawness of the Central Coast through depictions of surfing, nocturnes, and plein air. Influenced by the literary work of Robinson Jeffers and painters Charles Rollo Peters and Edward Hopper, as well as Caspar David Friedrich. He offers private painting and plein air instruction, and is a member of the Central Coast Art Association, Monterey Bay Plein Air Painters Association, California Art League, and is an Associate member of the California Art Club.
